I welcome you to our website. My name is Norman Frohreich, President and CEO of FullCircle Registry, Inc. In my 36 years in management, I have assisted in or directed the development of many companies. I have been involved with FullCircle since December 2007. I am excited about our new FullCircleRx program and I personally use our prescription services.

Let me share my thoughts about prescription drug pricing. I am in favor of our pharmaceutical companies being profitable. After all, they assume financial risk of investing in new drugs that lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, manage diabetes, help us sleep, etc.

However, I, like most seniors, have been paying huge increases for these drugs. Some of the increase comes from the over-regulation by our legislative and executive branches of government. It is truly a cost vs. benefit vs. risk situation. Our pharmaceutical companies spend billions of dollars developing drugs but very few of them actually make it to the market. That is our free enterprise system; some win and some lose.

There is another BIG “however” here. I do not agree with United States citizens subsidizing people in the rest of the world who pay 20–70% less for the same drugs. Yes, we are paying for that! Drug companies pay huge development costs for the first pill to be approved by the FDA. The second pill is produced at a very high cost to U.S. citizens. The next batch of pills is priced well below their cost and then marketed worldwide, sometimes under a different name. This approach helps our pharmaceutical companies increase their returns from their investments on their “successful drugs” and helps cover those drugs that did not make it to market.

Citizens of the world are purchasing the same prescription drugs that we are buying but are paying a much lower price than we are paying!

I have spent months researching this issue and we have included many links on this website to help you make an informed decision. In fairness, we have posted articles that express a variety of opinions.
